Leading development economist Jeffrey Sachs delivers the BBC Radio 2007 Reith Lectures on Wednesdays starting 11 April through 9 May. The five lectures, delivered in the UK, New York, and Beijing, are ‘Bursting at the Seams’ (11 April); ‘Science for Survival (18 April); ‘The Dethronement of the North Atlantic’ (25 April); ‘The Extremely Poor and the Extremely Worried’ (2 May); and ‘A New Politics for a New Age’ (9 May).
